Ratip Al-Sulaiman is happily married with four children. He arrived to the UK in 1991 with little English. He studied and obtained a BSc(Hons) Degree in IT and Business Studies from Middlesex University, and masters in Leadership in the community from Metropolitan University in London.
Ratip is a professional in graphic design, website developing and magazine publishing. He works for a newspapers and magazine company in London.
Ratip is an author who writes about history and politics starting with his rst Book about the Syrian Revolution (Assad 50 years in power) since 2011, he started collecting information, interview refugees, speaking to the victims and prisoner etc.
Ratip loves reading books especially in politics and leadership. He has travelled to many countries around the world. He speaks four languages – English, Greek, Turkish and Arabic.

AL- ASSAD 50 YEARS IN POWER

Assad, born on 6 October 1930, served as a Prime Minister from 1970 to 1971. al-Assad became president of the country in 1971 after taking part in multiple coups. Dictator Hafez al-Assad served as president of Syria for 29 Years al-Assad, in his early 20s, married Anisa Makhlouf 1957, a distant relative of a powerful family. Anisa Makhlouf has five children, four boys and one girl; Bassel, Maher, Bashar, Majid, and Bushra.  Hafez al-Assad served as president of Syria from 1971 until his death in 2000.  Hafez al-Assad ruled the Syria with an iron vest for 29 years. Syria became a police state. He gives all his family and cousin top job positions in the government in the military, police, and secret service.  Bashar, who had been training in London to be an eye surgeon. Bashar was made a lieutenant colonel, given a top military post, and referred to publicly as the hope of Syria. Immediately following al-Assad’s death, the Syrian Parliament amended the constitution, reducing the President’s mandatory minimum age from 40 years to 34 years.  is allowed Bashar Assad to become eligible for nomination by the ruling Ba’ath party. On 10 July 2000, Bashar al-Assad was elected President by referendum.  Bashar al-Assad President of Syria (2010 –  2021)
